Digital Catalog
The Lounge by AT&T was a unique retail concept blending a locally inspired atmosphere with a coffeehouse, hangout space, and technology-driven shopping experience. Located in Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood, it provided a welcoming space where visitors could work, connect, and explore a new way to shop.
Designed as a test-and-learn environment for self-service retail technologies, The Lounge introduced an innovative digital shopping experience. Customers could browse products on the Digital Catalog, complete their purchase through a custom app, and pick up their items from secure lockers—creating a seamless, frictionless transaction.
As the Lead Designer for the Digital Catalog, I was responsible for its end-to-end design, from planning and requirements gathering to strategy, visual design, and interaction design. I collaborated closely with design and development teams to shape intuitive screen flows and interactions. The interface featured a dynamic, "floating card" system that made browsing devices and accessories fun and engaging. To bring these fluid interactions to life, we leveraged the Unity gaming platform, creating a lively, motion-rich experience that pushed the boundaries of digital retail.
